Fundamentals of computational neuroscience

Abstract

This new edition of Fundamentals of Computational Neuroscience builds on the success and strenghts of the first two editions, while also streamlining the content to be more accessible and concise for the reader. The book includes new material based on recent success in AI (deep learning), predictive coding, and a new chapter on enhanced reinforcement learning. Another new feature is the switch from Matlab to Python, a free and more established programming environment that can be used to explore many of the mechanisms explained in the book.
